Sick economy has patients skimping on meds

That’s the headline of an Associated Press  news story that I found onMSNBC. One of the things I am grateful for here in Canada is that, even during difficult financial times, I can still see my doctor and get tests if I need them and not have to worry that I will go bankrupt because of it. Oh, that’s an issue for another day though!

Next to the picture of the Hendricks family is this caption.

Unregulated by the FDA  it’s well known for a decade now that sunscreen does not protect people from cancer. In fact it is known to cause breast cancer, and increase the incidence of malignant melanoma… one of the most aggressive and deadly cancers known.

How can this be you might ask. If I didn’t think it was absolutely a horrendous thought, I might suspect that the FDA was doing everything it could to help us all GET cancer!?!?! Read the rest of this entry »
