I am the author of a FREE ebook called The Liquid Zeolite Book and I must admit to you that Robert Sopias and his information were INSPIRATION for me to get the truth out to you about this supplement. I do recommend before you spend money on any zeolite product, and especially if you are considering buying the book "11 Natural Therapies to Conquer Cancer" you go ahead to www.TheLiquidZeoliteBook.com and get that free book.

Don’t get me wrong. If you like what he has to say, and you think he has credibility then go for it, and get his stuff.

Here is what I know about Robert Sopias. First, he is not a doctor or a medical professional of any kind. He isn’t hiding that… he says very clearly on ONE of his websites that he is not a medical professional and he has never had cancer.

He is in fact, a MARKETER. Again, I have no problem with that EXCEPT that I do not believe the products he markets are in your best interest. I believe they are in his best interest.

His main site is www.cancerfighting strategies.com This used to be the main website… opening up immediately to his recommendations. Now it is a sales page for his book "11 Natural Therapeis to Conquer Cancer" which is essentially a larger sales page for the products he sells.

Again nothing wrong with that. … but I have done a ton of research on at least a couple of the products he recommends, and I believe that ESPECIALLY the zeolite product, he is putting people’s lives on the line. Get the free book on Liquid Zeolite at http://www.theliquidzeolitebook.com before you make up your mind on that one.

So in full disclosure, let me tell you about me…

I am a retired registered nurse. (YES WAYYYY before 65 :-)) I was so very fortunate to be able to stay home and look after my children while they were in middle school and high school.

I have put into practice the things I am going to tell you about.

If you want to learn more about how I recommend you Beat Cancer then just visit this Cancer Can Be Beaten book review before you purchase.

If you or a loved one are fighting cancer, or you simply want to prevent cancer, then you need this book. $14.95 is all it costs. $14.95 that could save your life. $14.95 is a small price to pay for information that is absolutely priceless!

Is it really necessary to detoxify our bodies from time to time if we are already living a healthy lifestyle?

In my opinion it is, since toxins and chemicals are all around us. Every day we are bombarded with poisons in the air, in our food supply and our homes. Some experts believe that the earth has so much toxicity that even organic foods may have chemicals in them. In addition, homes may contain asbestos, molds and more, and we have no control over the air we breathe. Many people aren't aware that the cosmetic industry is unregulated, and harmful toxins may be found in makeup, skin care, and even baby products. Lead has been found in baby toys and lipstick.

For this reason detoxification is the best way to cleanse our bodies. Otherwise these toxins accumulate and of course can be detrimental to our health and well being. The toxic load can also be eased by using only safe and natural products in the home (both for cleaning and personal care) ultra filtered water, and a healthy diet with lots of fruit and vegetables. Meat can be found that is hormone and antibiotic free. As consumers are becoming more health conscious these products are becoming easier to find.

As far as detoxification is concerned there are products for this purpose without side effects. Some products that claim to be cleansers may not have a great impact on the blood or tissue, which is very important for the elimination of chemicals from the body.

Colon cleansers do not remove heavy metals and toxins from the tissues which is important for effective detoxification.

Are colon cleansers helpful?

In recent years as consumers have become more health conscious there has been a big increase in colon cleansers. Advertisements often show graphic pictures designed to frighten people into buying. There is no question that keeping the colon healthy is important to overall health, but are you wasting your money by purchasing cleansers?

We are exposed to toxins and free radicals every day, and detoxification is becoming more common for people who want to maintain health or to help them feel better. However I don't think that colon cleansing is an effective means of doing this.

Mucoid plaque is a term coined by a naturopath to describe mucus like material and food residue that coats the intestines. This name was started by a naturopath, however, there is no actual medical condition with this term. Mucus does occur naturally in the digestive system and helps protect the intestines from infection, however, the suggestion that this may form a mucoid plaque is not supported medically.

One of the main ingredients found in colon cleansers is psyllium husk which is also the main component of Metamucil and other laxatives. Psyllium can be bought very inexpensively in health food stores.

Generally the colon can be expected to do its job, if we are living a healthy lifestyle with plenty of fruits and vegetables and fiber in our diets, as well as plenty of water. Regular exercise will help as well.

An effective detoxification should eliminate toxins from the rest of the body and not just the intestines. Colon cleansers only work on the digestive system, and do not have a systemic effect. The goal of regular detox is to cleanse the whole body of toxins that have built up over time.

Liquid Zeolite: how does it work?

You may have heard of liquid zeolite and wondered if it's effective for detoxification. I'll explain what it is, how it works, and the different kinds of zeolite on the market.

Zeolite is a mineral and the type used in the liquid zeolite is called clinoptilolite. Because they are found in the ground they must go through a complete cleansing process first and tested to be sure it is pure and clean. The cleansing is vital to be sure all toxins have been removed and the product is completely safe.

Zeolite absorbs heavy metals and toxins found in the tissues. These are eliminated mostly in the urine, and for this reason it's important to drink plenty of water to help remove the toxins. We are exposed to these daily in our environment regardless of how healthy a lifestyle we live so everyone can benefit from regular detoxification.

Zeolite powder (if you buy the right kind) is clean, micronized zeolite small enough to leave the digestive system and get into the blood stream, which is necessary to remove the toxins. I actually prefer the powdered zeolite to the liquid because it has the zeolite in amounts recommended by the scientists who did the studies.

Another advantage of zeolite is it is helpful to get ph balance in the body, which is also important for health. It can easily be mixed with food or juices, and is safe for all ages with no side effects.

Zeolite has no side effects and is safe for all ages and even for pets.

Are Doctors Getting Tired of Drugs?

I have been seeing my family doctor for quite some time now for treatment for chronic depression. This is more then just a sad feeling or a little of the "blues". Chronic clinical depression is related to chemicals in the brain… whether too much, too little, or just not getting where they need to get, it's definitely a real problem, not a fabrication or just a "mood" one happens to be in today.

Well I've struggled for years on different medications and some of them do seem to work for a while but I always seem to be back in the doctor's office after a few months or even a couple of years. So she referred me to a psychiatrist to see if he could sort me out, or offer some suggestions.

After taking a history he did recommend a regimen of rotating medications. It seems there are actually a sub-class of patients with chronic depressive illness whose brains seem to reset after being on a medication for a while so he recommends switching every few months to avoid this. And THAT is where the traditional advice stopped!

The unexpected non-doctor advice

Now he leaned back in his chair, made a steeple with his fingers and put them under his chin, crossed his ankle up on the knee of the other leg and changed his tone to conversational. He asked me if I was aware of the body of research on light therapy for depressive illness. Of course, I am aware of it, but didn't have any kind of depth of knowledge. He proceeded to tell me about studies and clinical trials, gauging my response, and when he saw I was open, he actually took out a prescription pad and wrote a script for the "Day-Light" light therapy lamp pictured above!

OK so now I am pleasantly surprised but he's not done! We then discuss the research on diet and depression… how consuming fatty fish several times a week for the Omegas 3 and 6 can have benefit, and how flax seed oil, olive oil and avacados would be good as well. He talked about how sweet, fat processed foods are craved by people with depression because they stimulate serotonin release (a feel good chemical) but that it quickly crashes, so no matter how intense the craving do not give in to it, as this kind of carb consumption makes things worse. He talked about how replacing the cravings with slow release carbs like fresh fruits and vegetables would be healthier for the body AND the mind.

Next we're on to the topic of exercise and now I am really liking the guy. He talked about aerobic exercise and how it releases endorphins that elevate mood. He noted that the endorphin release has the ability to lift mood and help you feel better.

So now I am really shocked. I have never had a doctor talk to me, with any kind of knowledge, about diet. I've never had a doctor recommend exercise as a treatment for depression, and I have certainly never had a doctor write out a prescription for an alternative therapy device. How wonderful. How refreshing. How absolutely delightful…. Maybe we'll get there after all!
